The Overall Aim

To advance the global struggle of small-scale fisher people through collective analysis, enhance knowledge, solidarity building and empowerment of members through strengthening the political and organizational capacity of the WFFP.

Objectives

Protect, defend and strengthen the communities that depend on the fishery for their livelihood.

Represent and advocate for the interest of small scale and artisanal fishers and indigenous peoples’ rights

Identify new ways of developing people centered responses to the following three thematic areas,

Food Sovereignty

Climate Crisis

Ocean and Land Grabbing
